You are possibly asking the wrong question. Your question is "what is the cheapest way to send X emails".

A better question is "what is the cheapest way to reach X people who I am targeting". This new questions adds in consideration for the fact that many emails are filtered out by spam filters (often more likely by those emails sent by bulk emailers) and many emails that get through are not opened by the recipients.

SMS Broadcast gets the highest ratings in reviews (www.smsbroadcast.co.uk/Developers‎
) but I would concur with Peter to ask what are you trying to achieve??

If you run a club or a dental practice or a garage or a Doctors Surgery, then bulk SMS is a very effective way of reminding people about appointments, offers and service schedules.

If you are sending bulk SMS to people who have never heard of you (Are you texting a bought in list?) then I am not aware of any evidence to show that it does anything other than piss off the recipients and clog up their inboxes. The results of a survey last year, put SMS texting for cold contacts with a sales message so far down the list of successful media to use for new business development that it literally fell off their graph.
