Promote Store Off Main Roads

Looking for ideas to inform / direct travelers along two most traveled streets in a downtown area of a store located just around the corner of those two streets. Any ideas?

    Location. Location. Location.

    What kind of store? Who are the people you're hoping to inform? What were you planning to do to get traffic when you opened the business at that location? Why not stick to the plan? Or did you try that and the plan failed?

    The solution, if there is a good one, depends on your target audience and the type of business.

    Depends on the local zoning laws, but I'd suggest a large, double-sided banner strung across the main drag that directs would-be buyers where to turn and what to turn for.

    As Michael noted, first focus on the WHO. Then, figure out why they'd want to buy from YOU. Then, it's about connecting the dots. It may be something physical in the area, or it may be something entirely online, or flyers, or a contest, or sponsorships, or ....
