The new Year for me is full of creative ideas. I have found doing hair to be an extremely difficult perfession to make it , to pay the bills. I love photography and it's a hobby I obsess about. My friend is new to photography and is trying to get her business going. I suggested to her to that we work together , I will do the hair and makeup and after that she will do a photo shoot for the client. Old vintage glam , pinup girl kinda deal. I am the only hairstylist that works in my shop on Saturdays so we choose this to be the day we 'd do these shoots. I am extremely excitied, she seems to be but maybe not as much as myself.
My question to you is, how to advertise and market this new venture. Pricing of a package, how do I determine this? Also, if I cannot get this friend/photogrpher as excited as myself should this be something I do alone?
I am trying to do something different in this small town, reinvent myself and really stand out!! Make money and ENJOY it.
Thanks for any input you may have on this...
Thank you,
Tonya Richard
