Can anyone explain what is fba, I'm planning to start a business with amazon australia as the seller

When you say you plan to use Amazon as the seller, you have the option of using Amazon to warehouse and ship your products, which they call Fulfillment by Amazon or FBA. Or you can warehouse and ship the products, which is Fulfillment by Merchant (or FBM).

There are costs to both FBA and FBM, and the calculator is meant to help you figure out which one is better for you to do.

You sell it, they ship it. Amazon FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) allows small scale sellers to use Amazon's integrated platforms to conduct business online that involves the shipping of physical products.
