Email grabers, in my opinion, are not the way to go. You get a lot of junk and no names, addresses or other information. You might want to try jigsaw.com to get full information. Yes it costs but no so much. Try it.

Also you could hire some college interns to vist target wbsites and see if they can harvest the infomation you want.

    I use www.interspire.com email marketer.

In the end, using your plan, you're going to wind up with a bunch of email addresses and no other information about the person - where they're located, what position they hold, why they might be interested in your offer, and so your email will quickly be discarded as spam. Is that the impression you wish to give?

If you're selling trophies, then why not do a pay-per-click campaign so people who are looking to buy trophies will easily find you? For the long-term, why don't you develop relationships with sports teams, executive HR associations, awards promoters, etc.?

YES, that's a good point, wo could do pay-per-click, and in the long-term, we can build relaitionship with sports teams. But the thing is we just a small compnay, you know, there are so many crystal trophy firms there, doing pay-per-click, competitive. HEHE. I just wanna do some cheaper one to increase our sales.

Well, as KSA said, I can purchase them from companies who sell opt-in email lists. Could any one give me some companies recommdation?

    Thxs a lott...

Coincidentally, I was chatting with my email list broker yesterday about doing some email campaign enhancement for some of their clients, and the subject of bought (not rented) email lists came up. Turns out there are legit email lists available for purchase, and they broker them. Up until that conversation, I--as other respondents noted--knew that harvested, scraped, or otherwise "bought" lists were junk, and using them would get you caught in spam traps, etc. I still advise to run the hell away from that route. Even if you don't run into trouble, they aren't likely to be effective.

But now you actually can buy some lists, through reputable brokers. However, my colleague Scott says you can't use Constant Contact for sending them--CC won't allow it. And never, btw, use Outlook or any other email client for that purpose. You will be blacklisted instantly. He also noted that responses will be even lower, usually, than the low response (although still often profitable) we usually get from rented lists.

In all cases, I am talking about vetted opt-in lists. No broker would touch anything else.

So if you want to talk this over with my broker, his name is Scott Caufiled at AllMedia; I've used them many times, good company. https://www.allmediainc.com/

I am new to the internet, just 3 months on.
I am excited about the new opportunities to market on the web. My companies have always had a strong inside and outside sales team.

Internet Marketing is an absolute treat for our company. PPC is the greatest, with a number of other legit sites that offer clean results.

I do not know of Grabber, but it sounds like the individual touched on some legal and ethical issues related to it and others like it.

The internet makes life very easy, so easy that some get complacent and lazy. Do not forget about using that phone and dialing directly into prospective businesses. Get a name, get a contact, and build a list that will become of great value as you begin to secure them as clients.

Best of luck on the internet,
Make a little effort on that phone, it will pay dividends.
