What policies and procedures would help you accomplish your objectives? Policies and procedures are supposed to provide useful guidance to company employees. If you don't need them, there's no sense establishing them ... that would just be an added layer of bureaucracy with no benefit.

If, on the other hand, there are areas where employees need more guidance, then policies and procedures would make sense.

Not all companies have the same needs. A company that sells through independent sales reps, for example, might need certain standard policies and procedures regarding communication with the sales reps. Another company in the same industry that sells only online would probably find policies and procedures that deal with sales reps totally useless, but they might benefit from a set of procedures regarding online communication with [direct] customers.

Net, if you give us more details about your situation we can respond in a meaningful way. Otherwise there is no real answer to your question ... at least not one that would be helpful to you.

We are healthcare consulting firm. We sell B2B nationwide. I know that we need strong social media, media and producing marketing material policies. Are there any overlying ones that I am not thinking on in the new age of digital/online? I apologize for too broad a question earlier.
