Free manicure after they've attended one of your lingerie fittings/parties?
A raffle for everyone that purchases one of your products (spa treatment/free vacation/etc.)?
It all depends on your target market, the lingerie's perceived value, and how bit a profit center it is for your store.

Gift with purchase? Purchase with purchase?

Do you represent the department store or the lingerie manufacturer? Do you suppose the retail salespeople might have some good ideas? They are closest to the consumer.

Thanks Jay, we are currently doing a free Lingerie Set with a particular range purchased. Being in a department store does restrict us in some way, depending on the offer. We are a concession within a store and don't do lingerie parties as direct selling stores do, but I could use your idea by incorporating other cosmetic brands within our store as well. Thank you for your response.

Goodman, thank you for your response. We already do gift with purchase on occasions. I represent the lingerie company not the store, but as we are a concession within a store and as such we are restricted by their rules. I have asked some of the people who work within the store, but I could certainly broaden my field of people.

    HI KSA,
thank you for your response. Yes, we do have fitters, always offer that service. Our bras are fashion and everyday, not sports as we are a french lingerie company.
Events are what we are after to entice our regular customers back and to encourage new ones. We have done fashion parades and are looking for something unique to do on the department.

Why not also have a tie-in with a local french restaurant?
Evoke the feel of Paris - music, costume, decorations, signage?

Thanks Jay, we could do the tie in with a restaurant, but not the music, costume etc. We are unfortunately limited by the rules of the Dept Store. Great ideas though, would work well in our independent shops.
