Outsourcing Lead Generation/sales Calls

I am working with a large B2B with a rather small sales force. I have looked in to outsourcing some of the lead generation and appointment setting companies online. More than anything, I would like to set up and maintain a database for our sales team to determine who are prospects are doing business with at the time and when the contracts expire. Our average sales cycle is nearly 2 years so this would be a long term investment. So far, Virtualappoint looks promising. It is a US based firm run by a Harvard MBA. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    Virtualapoint - as I read it - will help you with setting appointments. As far as a database -- does this firm capture that info? Or do you need a CRM, sales force is probably the leader in that. But there are freebies, like freecrm.com. But of course, the freebies are very basic service and while I've worked with companies that are pleased with basic, you may have to upgrade to a paid version.

    I provided those sorts of services for years... and one company I had always been impressed with was "The Lead Dogs”.

    We use a company called OnPath (www.onpath.com). They help us with calling, CRM maintenance and lead nurturing.

    We've been using them for 2 years and are still happy with their output. They can work with virtually any CRM, including Salesforce.

    Sorry about that. I information about “The Lead Dogs” is many years out of date.

    I personally have over 25 years sales and marketing experience, and I was personally on the phone on behalf of many clients. Unfortunately, it seems that the vast majority of people who use the telephone for lead generation are much more concerned about immediate results right now than about creating a positive impression, building long-term relationships, and nurturing opportunities over time.

    Your best bet might be to contract directly with a qualified individual who can make telephone calls on your behalf.

    Yeah I have experience with Intelemark(www.intelemark.com) It is very good company which is expert in Appointment Setting, Sales Lead Generation, Event registration and many more. I am working since 2009 still it is giving me best result.
