Is someone deeply cares about the subject matter, and you provide relevant information to them, they will return for more. So, first you need to understand what people are looking for, and then create an online conversation with them to help them solve their needs.

Jay hit the nail on the head, as he usually does. You need to provide information that the audience finds valuable if you want to engage them. That means you need to understand their needs and then add value to their lives (in a way they can digest and understand).

I 2nd (or third) what MGoodman & Jay have stated... the better you understand your audience AND your competitors the more informed you will become on what to offer, how to offer, and present your self as a knowledgeable provider of this subject matter... Meet your audience where their greatest need, demand might be... Because as I’m sure you know, everyone has something to say on social media... which doesn’t mean it’s all right or informative. Hope that helps.
