Does Asking For Shares Affect The Reach On Fb?

Hello everyone, I’m a little bit stuck here. I run a FB Page and a few groups - they are all used to promote my website. And it turns out that certain posts get really remarkable reach stats, while others show an incredibly low reach, no matter how many likes and shares they get. Can it be by chance related to me inviting to like and share often posts in the group?

    It's possible. Why not do a test - one group ask for likes/shares often, another ask for likes/shares seldom, and another don't ask?

    I agree with Jay. It's quite possible that by asking for shares and likes that your content will get throttled (slowed down). The best way to know for sure is to run 6 - 10 tests.
