Looking To Draw Attention To Our Blog

Posted by cridout on 125 Points
I'm looking for a name for a once monthly email that goes out to our credit union membership on the last Friday of the month. It's purpose is to highlight some interesting blog posts that we have uploaded earlier in the month that they may not have seen.

Our blog name is The Vault (because we are a financial institution). We're looking for something light and playful because let's face it, money is serious business.

What is the name of your Company? Does The Vault blog publish posts on a regular scheduled basis or are posts published on an ad hoc basis? Do you have any metrics or analysis that show that blog posts unopened are a significant number? You don't want to put a lot of work into a new email program if the problem is not significant. If the number is significant, why do you think this email program will fix it? If The Vault posts are not being opened, have you considered that there may be an underlying problem with The Vault, that should be looked at first? Are The Vault posts that are not being opened all on a specific aspect or topic that may need some remedial attention (eg, subject matter, length of post, time of day the post is delivered)? Is this really a problem that requires an all-embracing fix?

If the articles are interesting, but not important, then people are unlikely to be motivated to read it.
If the articles are interesting and important (and unread), then motivate people to read it - offer a (small) prize to some lucky reader (answer a simple 3 question form to prove you read the email) regularly.
