Posted by lee on 1250 Points
We are a 60 year old structural steel company that is moving into Archetectural metal Design. We have created an amazing North Star a seven foot Star is hanging in the Saratoga Hills..we are going after large hotels and sports arenas. The need I have currently is for a gift catalog ...where we will have the typical signs, wall art etc. This is the first time we are introducing this to where we are located...I would like it to be catchy...the Just Do It! but not silly...I want it to have appeal and class
The company name is BT Archetectural Metal Design..I would like to get in that it can be the customer's creation too and that metal lasts forever...perhaps an emotional Words written Metal last a lifetime...any ideas are welcome

What will make your offerings stand out from the competition?
Have your creations won any awards or recognition?

I'd sure like to interview someone who has searched for and purchased architectural metal art. Where do they search? What keywords? How do they know they want/need metal art?

Have you actually carried out any local or regional research to establish that there will be paying customers for architectural metal art? Have you checked with town and cities Councils within reasonable proximity that you may have an opportunity to provide public community art pieces? It is important to know that you have a market for your services before you invest a lot of time and money into an enterprise that may not have a basis for commercial success.

On the other hand, is this proposal just a way of marketing your core business? That is, are these artistic but eye-catching pieces simply designed and produced to bring your company name to attention? And therefore a constant succession of customers is not so important?

From another marketing point of view, will you have a catalogue of designs that customers can choose from, or will your approach be based on individual customer bespoke designs?
