Exhibition Promotion Report

Posted by s3637290 on 250 Points
I'm doing a student assignment on a report on exhibition promotion and sales promotion. I think we can sell to the old customers at a more favorable price and let the customers sell it. We will soon attract new customers. All products are sold on promotion or in the form of vouchers for whatever conditions are met. When they spend $100 or $150, they give them a $10 or $20 voucher, which attracts more customers. This can not only attract consumers, but also achieve the purpose of increasing popularity. Do you have any ideas or better suggestions?

If a product has a good value, price isn't the issue.
Giving vouchers away is simply a discount, which means that the normal pricing is artificially high.
Better to get the pricing value/offer on-target.

I too react negatively to price-oriented promotions -- especially on introduction.

Consumers buy perceived benefits, so you are better served increasing your product's BENEFIT than cutting the price. In fact, you might want to increase the benefit so much that you can set a premium price and have customers happy to pay that price in order to experience the high value you deliver.

Exhibitions and sales are two different things.

    Exhibitions of what?

    Sales of what?

Who are these entities designed to attract?

"I think we can sell to the old customers at a more favorable price and let the customers sell it."

Do you think or do you know? Do you have hard data to back up your hunch here?

"We will soon attract new customers."

    Who's we'?

"All products are sold on promotion or in the form of vouchers for whatever
    conditions are met."

This sounds as if someone might buy something from somewhere to do something with something. It's all a little vague.

"When they spend $100 or $150, they give them a $10 or $20 voucher, which attracts more customers."

You have two 'theys' here: which one's which?

"This can not only attract consumers but also achieve the purpose of increasing popularity."

    Consumers of what?

    The popularity of what?
