Can I Use The Chat From Fb For Advertising?

My colleague said that I cant use my chat for Facebook advertising because of branding...

    Not sure I fully understand the question.

    There is no reason you can't use your side of the chat in advertising. You probably shouldn't use the Facebook brand or logo, and probably not use the other person's remarks or identity without explicit agreement.

    Branding of what? If you initiated the chat then there ought to be no real reason not to use it.
