    Suggestion: Don't spend your money on SEO. Even when done well, SEO can take quite a while to deliver the objective (i.e., better page-rank) -- especially in competitive categories.

    Instead you might try search advertising (like Google Adwords). It works (or fails) immediately, only costs money when it generates clicks, and lets you focus on conversion, so you can measure the ROI and test your way to success.

    By the way, if you do generate relevant traffic with Adwords you will find that your page-ranking improves too, so Adwords actually becomes a great SEO tool!

    Where are you in the development of your web site? SEO should really be done when web sites are being developed, so they can get key words into the content of the web and into the sub URLs and things like that. If the web site is already completed, then SEO actions would be somewhat limited and Mgoodman's suggestions may be your best option.

    My recommendation is to stop what you're doing, to not spend any money on SEO with anyone, to not think of contracting any company, and to provide more detail on the site, on the niche, on the domain name, and on where you are in the development process.

    I first got made SEO from a company which made the very base of my organic search results. But later on they kept posting good content on their blog so i just startet reading and could start making my own knowledge about SEO, the only thing i've had hard with was the offpage part, and you can find alot of information about these different topics within offpage around the internet, i got mine from the company that made my SEO in the first place https://seo-service.dk/linkbuilding/ and i've been doing it my self for 2 years now. Badmintonshoppen (dot) dk is my shop, and im allready in the top of google on my main money keywords. What i would recomment, is buying SEO from a company, find a bureau which have really good customer service and is not afraid of telling you "part" of their strategy so you later on can take over your self. It takes alot of effort to do SEO your self, but its not that hard as they "make it" it just cost's alot of time, but it will payoff, allso i recomment doing both SEO and Adwords at the same time, the SEO will make your quality score better on Adwords so you will have easier to get some conversion through that, and allso if you are top 3 on your keywords in Organic search results, the Adwords campaigns will help your custommers chose you since you suddenly are on page 1 more than 1 time, both adwords and organic. We all can agree that it takes more than 1 time visible to make the custommer buy on your website.
