Tagline For Metal Component Manufacturing Company

Posted by emily on 125 Points
We are an contract metal manufacturing company. Currently looking to create a tagline. We want this to describe the company in a few words, using our points of differentiation. A brief 'elevator pitch' regarding our company is 'We’re a contract metal manufacturing company. Manufacturers and the people in the construction industry throughout Australia love us for our incredible customer service culture. We have a full turnkey manufacturing facility so we’re able to supply them with an easy complete supply chain solution with our focus on finding the answer to their problem' the key points being our customer service, the full turnkey manufacturing facility/complete supply chain solution and our focus on finding answers to the problem. We also like the idea of partnering with our customers as a trusted adviser, rather then the 'vendor supplying the customer'

any ideas would be fantastic!

thanks.

What's the name of your company (we don't want to duplicate any words in your name)?
Who specifically uses your services and for what purposes?

As long as you think of, and refer to, yourselves as a "Metal Component Manufacturing Company" it is going to be almost impossible to position yourselves as a partner and trusted advisor. A true partner and trusted advisor doesn't have a hidden agenda of profiting from the manufacture and sale of metal components.

Great customer service and a "full turnkey manufacturing facility" (whatever that means) are features, not benefits. From a customer's perspective what is the unique and valuable BENEFIT of dealing with you? How are their lives (and businesses) better when you're involved?

Who exactly is your primary target audience?

Wow! interesting response. A lot to think about. Maybe I'll close this off and come back on when we've thought it through.

OK. So we've got a handle of sorts on what you think your clients think is important. But to root out the real gems, you need to go deeper.

What industry measurements or standards do you exceed? How long have you exceeded these standards? What high ground can you claim that no other similar company can claim?

What "only" statements and landscape can you claim that no other similar company can claim? An example might be "In metal manufacturing in the ABC region, only XYX Associates offers customers [insert provable, tangible, non-cliché, past tense result here]".

What key traits and qualities do your clients most appreciate about your services?

Of the list of things you think are important, how many clients have you asked what's of importance to them?

Seems like, according to your aspirations, you'd want something like:

    [company name]
    "Your Metal Manufacturing Partner"
