Catchy Name For A Mental Health/dui Clinic

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I have been searching for a year for a catchy/funny/meaningful name for my outpatient private practice. I am terrible at this stuff and so is my family:) I see mostly mental health and substance abuse clients (charged with DUI/DWAI's/etc). I am open to it having "institute" in the name since it qualifies as an institute in Colorado and also
"McGregor". Please help!

For this kind of practice a catchy or funny name would seem to be inappropriate. I would think you'd want to communicate a serious and respectful attitude toward your patients and their needs ... one that indicates you are professional and focused on delivering results for them.

I'd also think reference to "Colorado" or "Rocky Mountain" would be more meaningful to your patients than your name. It suggests that you are part of the community, share their values and are "one of them."

What you might NOT want to do is be too explicit about what you do. Many prospective patients may be reluctant to be seen as dealing with substance abuse or mental health issues. "Institute" would seem to be appropriate -- not "clinic" or "rehab" or "recovery." "Counseling Center" might also work since it's not explicit about what kind of "counseling" you do.

P.S. What's wrong with the current name? Why change it?

I've worked in healthcare. Trust me: no one is looking for catchy/funny/meaningful. They are looking for relevance.
