Creating Slogan For Ibiza Luxury Home Rental Biz

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello everybody, I'm new here and very exited to be here also.
I've started a new business which is running high standard holiday homes for tourists in Ibiza. I've had a very hard time coming up with a name (for many reasons), but finally decided on Ibiza Luxury Flats. I am speaking to a high end clientele, who will pay anything from 500 Euros to 1200 Euros a night. I now must decide on a slogan, here are a couple of slogans I thought might work, yet none of them seem to be THE ONE yet.
PS. Ibiza is also known as the white island
+ Feel at home on the white island
+ Live and love what the white island has to offer
+ Enjoy pure comfort.
+ Enjoy what life has to offer, Ibiza style.
+ Revel in Ibiza style
+ Your holiday home on the white island
+ Irresistible comfort. Appealing style.
+ Indulge in the white island experience
+ Experience irresistible comfort, white island style.

Thank you all in advance. <3

To me, "Flats" does not go well with "Luxury". Luxury opens the imagination, while flats is too solidly descriptive (slams the imagination back down to the ground).

Why do you want/need a slogan? What do you want it to communicate?

Who is your primary target audience? Where? How are they going to find you? Are they already familiar with Ibiza or do you need to introduce them to the location? What are their current travel preferences? Who and what are your main competitors?

    Replying to questions and comments.

    WHY IBIZA LUZURY FLATS.
After buying several domain names, having a tight deadline and many names not being available I decided on this one so that I could get on with it. I'm a one woman band at the moment with limited resources so i couldn't buy expensive domains that would have been perfect for my site.

    TARGET AUDIENCE:
I have two types of clients.
(thinking of the ideal scenario here)
The tourist: She/he looks for a high standard place to stay during his/her vacation in Ibiza and share that space with family, friends or group members. She/he wants to feel at home so she/he wants a fully equipped house/apartment. She/he understands that these properties are somebody’s home and treats everything as if it was her/his own. He/she may enjoy spiritual and therapeutic retreats and looks for a place for him/herself or for a group that is surrounded by forests as well as spectacular beaches. The island has many things to offer but she/he is interested in the more positive aspects. She/he likes to travel to Ibiza not just during the high summer season, but also during spring, autumn and winter, as the island is less densely populated, the views stunning and the temperature mild.

    The home owner:
The island runs on the money generated during the summer months, the home owner has spent a great deal of money and time in putting together a holiday rental home and now just wants to relax while the property is run professionally. Some of the homeowners put their personal things in storage in order to rent out their home during the high season, so it is important that her/his home treated with respect.

HOW ARE THEY GOING TO FIND ME.
Mailing list and social media that direct them to the site. We have a list of clients that have stayed in the flats in previous years and we will be sending them msgs and direct emails. In the site I'll have a blog on Ibiza, what do do, where to eat, tendencies, lgbt, art, music, clubbing, culture etc. I have one flat at the moment that has had a make over by a well known designer and there's going to be an article in a design magazine.

    COMPETITORS
There are many people and business doing what I'm doing.

Ibiza is in spain, not the mediterranean.

I've been told that holiday home in europe means trailer home.
Most of our clients are European.

I've been told that with the name and the slogans that I've thought of, service I'm offering still isn't immediately obvious.

I've been to Ibiza (while sailing in the Mediterranean). And here's what Wikipedia says:

"Ibiza is one of the Balearic islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea."

Of course it is also in Spain. The two are not mutually exclusive, are they?

The key for you (especially since many others are also offering similar rentals) is to somehow distinguish your offerings from the rest. Are the rentals newer? Furnished specially? Offering unique amenities? Offering unique services? Without figuring out how to be unique, your tagline will be generic - and therefore likely effective.

mgoodman, that was ignorant of me, :/ sorry. I haven't seen people really market that fact here. It's probably a great ideia to do so.
Jay Hamilton-Roth there are many people renting all sorts of properties, the apartments I have are all newish, less than 5 years, decoration is mostly very new and modern. Some owners are thinking of renting luxury cars together with the apartments. It's going to be my first year doing this, would it be really terrible to rebrand the business after a year of testing a more generic slogan? I also know the name isn't ideal. Perhaps rebrand after I have a good list of returning customers. What do you guys think?
    thank you all so much.

If your slogan is generic, then why bother with one at all?
And if you're already thinking of rebranding, then why not start with a better name? If you change your name, your clients are unlikely to be able to find you again.
