Naming Jewelry Boutique

Posted by pointofinterest16 on 250 Points
I am working on getting ready to open a jewelry boutique but there's one minor problem....I don't have a name picked out. I already run a business that is more crafty with home décor, up-cycled furniture ect and that business name is Point of Interest but I would like something catchier for the jewelry boutique. The jewelry I make is more vintage, steam punk statement pieces and longer "costume" necklaces. I also make resin pendants that will be for sale. Any thoughts on this? I know some people don't feel that the name makes a difference if buyers like your product however I feel that it does, catchy name + great items = easy to remember. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Who is your primary target audience? Where? Why might they want to buy jewelry from you? What makes you different from, and better than, others who are selling essentially the same thing? How are prospective customers going to find you?

If you can answer these questions we'll have something to work with. The name should be about what will appeal to your target audience, not just what you want to do/sell. Tell us about that target audience.

Okay, now that your target audience is narrowed down.

    1. What makes your stuff unique?
    2. Where are you located? (regions and nations sometimes make a difference)
    3. How do you plan to advertise that you exist?

There are approximately 1.5 billion people in the target audience you describe. You won't be able to reach them all. Perhaps you can narrow the audience to something more realistic.
