Name & Tagline For Virtual Assistant Business

Posted by sking030715 on 250 Points
Hello! I am starting a Virtual Assistant business and am having a difficult time coming up with a name and tagline that is catchy but also let's people know my business. I am contemplating using my last name in the business name and/or somehow play off that in the tagline. Last name is King. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestion would be welcome. Thank you!!

    A few thoughts:

    1. The name and tagline should communicate the unique and compelling BENEFIT your target audience can expect if they hire you. Ultimately that's what they are buying, and if your benefit promise is unique and compelling, that's a whole lot better than having a "catchy" name.

    2. Unless you are already well-known by your target audience, using your name won't mean much to your target audience. It will be something of an "inside joke" that distracts from the important communication of the unique and compelling benefit they can expect.

    3. Who exactly is your target audience? Where? What industries? When and how do they decide they need a virtual assistant? What are the most important criteria by which they select a VA?

    4. If you haven't done so already, I'd suggest conducting a dozen information-gathering interviews with people in your target audience. Find out how they view virtual assistants and what they'd want in a VA? (We can use that kind of information for naming.)
