Our product name is available for trademarks but brand names I found are not available. We are still working on it after 20 days.As we have only one product can we give same name for brand & product ???
We may launch new product after 1.5 yrs or after 2 yrs. What should we do?????

You can use the same product name and brand name, but you may still run into some objections from the owners of the brand name, and you will almost certainly confuse your customers when you add new products in 1.5 or 2 years.

I am not an attorney, and I am not familiar with the laws in India. (This is not legal advice.) What do you mean by "product name?" How is the "product name" different from the "brand name?" Can you give an example?

The product we are making is probably one of the oldest Indian snack. We have rediscovered it.I want to form a new brand. But right now I have only one product in my mind.I am the owner of the company.
For this brand I have given "Indus valley" as a brand name & "nutribombs" as a product name for Trademarks registration. But later product name "nutribombs" has passed but brand name "Indus valley" got objection because Hindustan Unilever Ltd which is a very big company in India already registered this name.later I have tried some other few name to make a brand name.but didn't succeed.
I knew that if I use product name as a brand name I may confuse my customers. That's why I am looking for advice. See product name has some unique nutritional qualities,ancient/traditional product that's why I have name "nutribombs". If I want to launch another product it must has same qualities as nutribombs has.may people will expect like that.right now production delayed because of this & I don't have packaging material.

No, you should not use the product name as your brand name. Because of the reasons you gave above, it will be too confusing to your customers. Come up with some brand name...honestly, it is probably not that important what it is if your products are great.
