New Name For "girls Night Out" Series Of Seminars

Posted by mary.rogers on 125 Points
We have had a series of seminars at my work called "Girls Night Out" which are usually light snacks, wine, a speaker (usually about women's topics) and an activity, i.e. we had one with a speaker from the FBI who spoke on defending yourself in a physical confrontation and then the activity was a hands-on demonstration of self-defense. They normally run about 1.5 hours.

Why do you want a new name? What does it need to communicate that the old name doesn't? What's driving the change?

There is another organization in town that has been advertising the same name for their event. We had discussed changing the name and adding a logo, so this is where we are right now. We still want to keep the information / activity that we provide. It doesn't always have to have an activity, but it's normally fun for the ladies who are normally in the 35 - 60 age range.

If you prefer minimum change, how about:

    Girls Going Out
    Girls Gone Out

Your logo could be "@Home" with a circle around it with a diagonal slash across it all... A sign clearly meaning Not At Home.

Is this series for "in-house" women only?
What's the goal of the event: education, networking, bonding, or something else?

We are a hospital, and the series is for getting information to the women in the community. Mainly education.
