Need Name & Tagline For New Vending/gumball Biz

Posted by rouman.m on 250 Points
Hello! I need a name for a vending business. Actually, we're starting off just with bubblegum/bulk candy machines. Eventually, we plan to branch out and sell other things. We're not sure if we'll go into coffee or large snack machine vending.

Who is your target audience? Where? Why should they choose you rather than a competitor? What do you want the name to communicate?

We live in the Chicago area. Target audience can be anyone. We can place candy/ gumball machines in office buildings, retail stores, pizza places or other restaurants, gas stations etc. or kiddie places. We don't want to limit ourselves to just one demographic, in case we want to expand.

What do you want the name to communicate? I guess what we sell. However, I don't think I want the word "vending" in the name because eventually we might branch out and do more than candy/gumball vending, or we might even sell actual bulk/candy machines or products.

"Anyone" is a pretty broad target audience. In fact, you will really do yourself a disservice if you try to position your business with "anyone."

The vending business is really all about placing your assets in locations where they will generate revenue for you and the owner/landlord. The "anyone" who purchases from your machines doesn't need to know the name of your company. It's not like they are going to go looking for you at other locations. So the target is most likely building owners/managers in Metro-Chicago.

And the only benefit they really want is additional "found money" from their real estate -- without hassle or mess. They don't care what the company name is either. You can call it "ABC Enterprises" for all they care.

So my suggestion is a name that refers to civic spirit and/or honesty/reliability.

We're not in Lincoln Park and most likely we'll be serving the Chicagoland area or suburbs.

Why not use Michael's idea, but renamed slightly: Chicagoland Enterprises
