Who is the target audience? Where? How/where/when will your target audience see/hear the tagline? What do you want them to do/believe after they've seen the tagline?

What can you point to as proof that the surgeon offers "world-class, most advanced cardiac treatment?" Or is it just a nice-sounding claim that any CVTS surgeon could make?

A tagline really can't do much talking.

    [surgeon name]
    "World class cardiac treatment techniques"

This is just my humble opinion, but as a patient I'd be looking for a surgeon who is caring and available. Someone who is approachable and easy to talk to. I'd want him (or her) to treat me like family. "World class" doesn't convey any of that.

I'd suggest surveying patients. Find out what they like most about your doctor and then use their words in your tag line.

I worked in hospice care for nearly two years so perhaps I'm overly sensitive to medical tag lines. This is CARDIAC care: surgery. The care had BETTER be world class. If it's not, patients DIE. So, might you want to rethink your reasons why?
