Posted by sven_heinen on 250 Points
Looking for a name!

The website is about:
- making a packinglist for your specific holiday and destination, order the missing products online and go!
- based on the packinglist they will receive all kinds of information about their type of holiday/destination/needs.

Thanks in advance.

Who is the target audience? Where? What is the important and compelling benefit they should expect? How will they learn you exist?

Do you have a marketing plan? A business plan? If so, can you share some of that with us? If not, shouldn't those plans come first -- before the name? Without a strategy, how do you know what the name should communicate? What needs do your target audience have? What words do they use to express those needs?

The target audience: everybody that knows the holiday pac king stress. A few days before departure people run to different stores to get their latest items.

The first core of the website targets these people by providing a packinglist, and let them order all missing articles so they have enough time and no stress to pack their suitcases.

In a later stage, the website will give information about their destination.
Information will be about as simple as local temperature, currency, safe to travel etc. On the other hand the info will be about local culture/nature/dining/party/to do tips.

I do not want the name just related to the packinglist, because it will be so much more in the future.

They use words as: holiday packing, packing list, packlist

Hm, I can suggest the holidaycore, as for me, there should be the main keyword in the name of your domain name)

"The target audience: everybody that knows the holiday pac king [sic] stress."

How will you identify and reach these people? Or do you plan to reach everybody in the world and have the target audience self-select? (Could get expensive.) Any idea what percentage of the population this might be? Is it unique to any particular cultural or psychographic group? More common among women than men? Etc.

We will focus on the Netherlands at first. Our target group is every Dutch traveller from 16-60 years old that is going on a summerholiday, skivacation, city trip, backpacking, business trip etc.

1st of june we start with a proof of concept. Then we start gathering data from the packinglists to decidw our next step.

I am still looking for creative ideas for a name :)

    Suggestions?
