Catchy Name& Tagline For A Career Based Newsletter

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I am employed at the Career Guidance and Placement office of a university and have been given the task of publishing a bi annual newsletter with all the activities undertaken during the year. The activities we do are placing students on internships, job placements, career fairs, career workshops, seminars and recruitment. The first issue has to be out in Jan 2016, so i need help in finalizing the name and tag line very soon.
Thanks in advance for the help.

What's the name of the university?
Who's the audience for the newsletter?
Why would they care about the content?

Why do you think the name needs to be catchy?

I'm skeptical that a catchy name will get folks to read the newsletter. What WILL get them to read it is content that will benefit them in some way. Simply knowing what an organization has done (or is doing) won't cut it unless it's tied directly to some important and tangible benefit.

So let's define the benefit first. Once we have it defined, we can name the newsletter to clearly point to the benefit. That will get people to read it.

Problem: You have multiple target audiences, each with different needs. It's not going to be easy to identify a single benefit that is meaningful for each audience. The project is inward focused, so it's not likely you'll be able to come up with a benefit -- or a name -- that's right for everyone in the target audience.
