Video Got 60k Views Fast On Fb And Converted! How?

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Ok, so I am small business owner and was approached by a marketing contact who told me they could get a LOT of exposure on FB with a video and convert them into customers making appointments for a share of the income.

I have made videos that were cool and gotten maybe 1k views but made no difference in income generation.

Everyone that came in or called, nearly 1000 people, said they saw it on Facebook! So I am trying to figure out how this happened and how to replicate.

Here is the scenario in a nuthell:

1) Video goes up on FB
2) They fill out an application for exclusive training (limited to 15 people) on a landing page
3) Within a week there are 60k+ views and nearly 500 applicants for training coming into the shop

My question is what is the secret sauce for this!? It has to be more than just FB targeting right? Every single person that came in said that it was on their Facebook Feed.

It is very, very effective and I am stoked about it, but my marketing has been anemic, at best, so how do I replicate these results?

As an aside, I also know that infusionsoft is involved, but don't believe that to be the answer since it is more on the CR side right?

Anyway, thanks so much for the time and consideration...

Without seeing reporting or the ads that were ran - it sounds like a multi-pronged approach was leveraged. If Infusionsoft was involved then they may have had email addresses to leverage to create a custom audience or a look-a-like audience which may improve in driving more impressions but more importantly stronger results/relevant leads.

I would suggest you request reporting which will show you a breakdown on ad type, conversion tracking, and audience breakdown metrics.

Glad to hear the campaign was successful. Sometimes it may be easier for you to have them replicate it vs. learn to on your own; Facebook is making constant changes to their ad types and . Either way - analyzing the reporting against the leads is the first place to understand what worked and how.

Take care & best of success!

Jillian is correct...analysis the data gathered...if they are doing a great job; don't bother to duplicate it with your efforts (spend time being productive elsewhere - the definition of outsourcing)

Of course, if their own programing fails to stay the course or improve - then address matters

If the video has been viewed 60K times and 500 people came to you for your offer, it would suggest to me that this was a promoted or sponsored post. Which demographics did you use for targeting?
