My husband Barry and I are starting an antique business of restoring special pieces of vintage and antique furniture. Shabby chic is our speciality. We need a catchy name for our little Southern Specialty. Thanks. Beth & Barry Peavy

The name you choose has less to do with what you want to DO and more about the unique BENEFIT your target audience should expect.

So who IS the target audience? What do they do now that you are going to displace? What's going to get them to change?

And the names that are "catchy" are the ones that communicate a compelling benefit to the target audience. It's not about some clever pun or witty juxtaposition. Stay away from "catchy" and go for "relevant."

Should we try and incorporate our last name Peavy in the name somehow?
