Name For A Personal Training Weight Loss Studio

Posted by amcgarr on 125 Points
Thanks for your help. I'm trying to find a catchy name for a personal training / weight loss Center .

We are a one stop shop that provides body analysis , diet / meal plans, supplementation and personal training all in one facility .

I keep coming back to body transformations as an anchor idea for the name. But I don't want it to sound Ike a transformer movie

Here's what I've been brainstorming.. I've been using the word forme because we are in Quebec and it works in French also. But we are in a predominantly English part of Montreal

Trans-forme
fitforme
Fit Spot
Trans-fit
Trans4m

And the tag line.. Working on that one
Any help is appreciated

Are you clients' goals mostly around getting stronger or losing weight? If the latter, then none of your names really work well. If the former, then having the word "fit" or "fitness" may make sense. However, none of these names are easily remembered nor clearly stated. "Transformations" is about the process, but isn't about the emotional need or the client's goal. Focus on why they'd choose you.

Thanks for that.. It's focus is weight loss .. Using body transformation techniques (diet, weight training, cardio)
Getting stronger is of course a side benefit ..

Keep coming back to trans4m. And using a tag line ?? A new you?? Healthy weight loss ??

"Transform" doesn't say weight loss or thin. You would do well to detach yourself from "transform" for now and focus on expressing your unique positioning benefit. How will your clients FEEL after you've worked your magic? What will they tell their friends who notice they've changed?

When you get married to a word or phrase, it's hard to see what other options there might be. Don't fence yourself in like that -- unless you are already too far gone, and you've decided that "transform" is somehow a compelling benefit for your target audience.

P.S. Who is your primary target audience? What words do they use when they talk about what they'd want from a personal trainer/weight-loss center? What are they really seeking? (May need in-depth interviews using a trained market research professional.)
