Just to give you an idea ....

Are you a highly motivated Professional woman over the age of 40 that has struggled with your health and fitness goals?

Do you feel sick and tired thinking about it all the time, Getting dressed for work or going out for the evening has now become a chore, like it will ever happen for me, will I ever be fit; why can't I get this one aspect of my life under control once and for all? Does this sound Familiar? I know for me it was an everyday occurrence.

Do you believe our struggles happen for a reason, so we can help other people through theirs? I do and I can help you through your journey because I have conquered mine, by losing 120 lbs. I would love to help you achieve your health & fitness goals no matter how big or small or what your age.

At Sharon Vatter Fitness, I can offer you Support, Encouragement, Accountability and Motivation from me as your coach along with fitness groups that will help to motivate you to stay on track with your fitness and nutrition goals.

Why not use the phrase "Support, Encouragement, Accountability and Motivation" (SEAM or SAME acronym)? Or something simple, "Personal Success Coach"? Or, "Stop Struggling. Start Succeeding."?

I'm wondering why you want/need a tagline. Doesn't the name tell people what business you're in?

Part of the problem might be that the name of the company includes your name, and for most folks it won't mean much -- because they don't know you or your story. You could replace the name with some words that speak to what makes you unique and/or what important benefit you offer your target audience. You can also be more specific about who you serve -- professional women 40+.

Is this blog a commercial venture, or more like a hobby? How do you plan to monetize it? Maybe the blog and the company can have different names.

Hi mGoodman, I was told that it was best to use my name as that was my brand... This is the part I seem to be struggling with the most. I know who my target audience is. But having the right name or tagline or as you say is a tagline even needed is where I am stuck

OK. Let's start at the beginning: What is your objective? Why are you starting this blog? What does success look like for you?

Thank you all for your responses they are much appreciated.

Just to give you bit more background as a Beachbody your objective your first objective is to help people, (2) get people to sign up for your challenge groups, and (3) convert customers that were in challenge groups to coaches.

This is why as a new coach it is key to be able to target that specific audience as for me for example not being a Mom as a primary focus I would not target Mom's as I can't relate to their day to day experience. However as someone that has worked in the corporate world for the past 35 years I can relate to professionals that cant find the time to get their workouts in have lost that zest for getting healthy - and are too tired by the time they get home to even think about going to the gym. These are the people that I want to target

And maybe I am over thinking this but I don't want to stand up my blog/website without having this piece locked down.

So when I think about success it would be someone coming to my landing page , seeing message they like where they become a conversion and join a challenge group. Maybe they don't purchase anything right away but eventually they do. Because with anything you need to build a sense of trust with somebody before you can expect them to turn over their money to you, This is what I am working towards if this helps gives you all a sense of my "why" - thanks Sharon Vatter
