Slogan For Risk Management Company

Posted by ojfranklin on 500 Points
At MakingRightChoices.com, we provide risk management to large educational organizations.

We primarily sell to risk managers or administrators and feel our slogan or tagline should speak to them.

While we provide risk management services, we prefer the term risk prevention. This is a unique delineation in our market. We also feel that our sweet spot in the industry is that we collaborate with our clients and their constituents to prevent risk throughout the organization.

So far we have come up with "Collaborative Risk Prevention". but we feel that slogan is a bit flat. A more action oriented version is "Risk Prevention through Collaboration", but this is hardly catchy.

Do either of the ideas above sound good or do you have other ideas?

Your website shows a focus on "Educator Sexual Misconduct Training". Is this still your key focus - reducing the risk of sexual misconduct in the (corporate) workplace? Is your target audience located mostly in S. California?

Besides the differentiation of "management" vs. "prevention" - what's unique about your offering (since ultimately any company that offers your training could say "we are focused on prevention")?

Yes our key focus is still on preventing educator sexual misconduct and we do this primarily through online training.

Even though all of our clients are in SoCal currently, our target audience is nationwide.

There are a few things that differentiate us significantly from our competitors. I will share a little about our training and the partnerships we build.

    Our Training
What's unique about our offering is that we offer educator sexual misconduct. There are two other competitors in the nation who provide training on this topic and our training is far superior to theirs for the following reasons (1) Our training is the Cadillac model of training. From the look and feel of our course to the instructional design and implementation of our learning objectives, our course is noticeably better. (2) Our training can be tracked in a passive system that is tracked, recorded, and reported in a way that requires very little human interaction, (3) The content of our training is customized and localized to each our clients. (4) Our content runs deep and bread in a number of different pertinent topics. Our competitors content is shallow, often covering only the bits and pieces of the 5 content areas we cover. There are other reasons, but this should be enough.

    Our Focus on Building Partnerships
As opposed to a risk management solution that is "applied" to a group, we are actually facilitating the growth and adoption of a culture of risk prevention from within the organization. This focus on prevention requires collaboration with our clients that goes beyond the normal level of engagement from an online training vendor. As part of our commitment to our clients and the efficacy of our message, we customize the training to each client's specific needs. We help them develop a policy and clear reporting procedures. In the end, we are facilitating an organizational paradigm shift around the topic of educator sexual misconduct.

Phew...that was wordy, but hopefully that provides more background for those who would like it.

Thanks for the answers and the details. Here are a couple of ideas to "try on":

    Instilling Risk Prevention Strategies
    Promoting Professional (Sexual) Conduct

Thank you Jay, here is my feedback:
While "Instilling Risk Prevention Strategies" speaks to our target audience of risk managers and administrators, it is not catchy and feels like a mouthful.

"Promoting Professional Sexual Conduct" would never work since we're not promoting sexual conduct of any type within a school environment. And while "promoting professional conduct" rings true to what we are doing, we do more than just promote good conduct. We are in fact creating organizational change through our collaboration and training with our clients.

    I hope this feedback helps.

Ghost Writer - I really like three of your suggestions:

    - Preventing Risk By Promoting Change
    - Avoiding Risk Through Collaboration
    - Working Together to Prevent Risk

I would just change the word avoiding in the second slogan to "Preventing Risk Through Collaboration".

PhilGrisolia4Results - We are minimizing the risk at all levels of the company from janitors to superintendents. "Minimizing the risk in management" makes it sound as if we're only focused on reducing risk for employees in a management function.
