Besides SEO, what does ezinearticles.com do to promote so many articles on the website?

    E-zineArticles.com links to 178,000 sites, its global search ranking puts it in 314th place. What does it do to promote itself? It offers authors of high-quality, highly specific content to submit those articles to its database. It's an authority portal. It gives the authors that contribute to it three things that many authors, bloggers, and website owners lack: credibility, authority, and traffic.

    If they simply leave the articles in their database, the articles will not get discovered.

    The question is since they got huge amount of articles, what do they do to promote those articles so the articles attract traffic?

    The articles and the database are all online and are keyword and key phrase optimized. That's how they attract traffic.
