Incorporating Social Media Into Website Design

Posted by chritz on 500 Points
Anyone know what types of new integration is out there for integrating social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Blog, Linked-in) to our website? We are redesigning our website and want to incorporate our social media into the design. I know about Open Graph with Facebook and integrating the “Like" us button onto the site &/or using the Facebook badge but not sure about other features. Recommendations?

A very common and simple practice is the Add This widget code at https://www.addthis.com/

Very comprehensive and lots of customization options.

While I appreciate the info on the share buttons I'm looking more for real integration ideas. Anyone seen any websites that really do a good job of integrating their YouTube, Facebook, & Twitter into their website content?
