Evaluation Criteria For Digital Advertising

A friend of mine who is overlooking operations of a leading supermarket chain with 42 outlets is wanting to go in to a pilot project to choose a suitable DIGITAL ADVERTISING company and is wanting to know the best criteria enabling him to short list one party at the end of the three month period.

    Does in store Digital Advertising contribute to increase in store sales and how will you know? I believed that in store Digital Advertising only assists to attract more shoppers. However, how can you hold a in store Digital Advertiser responsible for an increase in sales? Instead could the criteria be on the effectiveness of the content, creativity and the technology being used for in store Digital Advertising?
