Help With Tag Line Or Slogan

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello. I just started a new management training & consulting firm called [name deleted by Asker's request]. I am having a very difficult time coming up with a slogan or tag line. My target audience are Chief Learning Officers, Internal Training departments, HR professionals, Senior managers i.e. decision makers. Some of the many benefits to training employees:

1. Increased job satisfaction and morale among employees

2. Increased employee motivation

3. Increased efficiencies in processes, resulting in financial gain

4. Increased capacity to adopt new technologies and methods

5. Increased innovation in strategies and products

6. Reduced employee turnover

7. Enhanced company image

8. Risk management, e.g., training about sexual harassment, diversity training

I could go on but I am sure you get the picture. Can any of you help?

here are a few links to some past KHE question. they aren’t specific BUT they do have some good ideas that can be applied when thinking of a tagline.

    they are:

there is also a website that is designed to come up with taglines BUT i cant think what it is for the life of me. i will post it later if i remember.

here are some of my ideas:

optimizing life as well as your wallet

    efficiency doesn’t have to cost

deficiency be gone with optimum Training & Consulting

    I hope this helps

    Hi Kim,

The list of benefits seem generic to the category and all competitors. Your slogan should express your POSITION relative to your competitors. For example, claim the number one position for the “friendly” delivery of training as seen from the clients POV. In others words, try to talk about a place you claim verses naming a benefit.

    Hope this helps

One of my long-time clients is a training company, so I'm promoting training every day... and it seems to me that there are more and more options each day, especially with online training. And most training folk I work with feel they have their own key areas of expertise - and need someone to fill gaps... and so the "optimum" solution from their standpoint might be an a la carte system so that they could mix and match and pick just those products and services their employees need. I don't know your business model, your product offerings, and have not looked at your web site - but would it make sense for your tag line to address program customization issues?
