How To Make A Amusementpark Educational

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Hi everybody!

I currently working on a marketing plan for a amusement park, where the educational aspect will be important.
These are some key issues:
Investment costs has to be kept low
Labour costs are very low
Space is limited

How can a park be made educational on these premises?

All answers are welcome

Thank you, regards

If there are animals at this park then you could teach people about the animals.

Simulation rides that educate would be good.

Part of the pre-show or post-show for the major attractions could include a technical explanation, summary of the g-forces, power used, energy dissipation, ride timings, maintenance programs, Newtons laws applied to the ride, what happens to your body during the ride, etc.

Ahh thanks a lot! Unfortunately there are no animals however there are plants so I think Chrissies idea can be applied there. I will elaborate more on your ideas too ASVP/ChrisB. The tricky thing i feel is to make it fun while being educational.

I thought a lot about including things such as "try pottery" (Im actually visiting a factory today to see if it somehow can be implemented). Other ideas might be applying trafic rules to the go-carts.

How do you Chrissie mean simulation rides that educate?

    Cheers

Mattias, as an MBA student who learn marketing, I like to rais couple of questions before throwing ideas. Hope you don't misunderstand my differnt approach to the question.

    i) Have you done any type of basic, simple survey that the custmers or potential customers visting or planning to visit are comming to experience what from Amusement Park or this idea of making the park with educational eliment is a novel idea?
ii) Suggest to accomodate eastern willage culture to illustrate and let western kids to experience it a an educational experience. (Eg: Typical Sri Lankan or Indian village appearance can be built up with very low cost and it can be open to experience by spectators, probably by letting tehm to dress as Sri Lanakan or indian and to understand how they learn by lving close to nature.

Can you post a link to the park's website, or else give a list of the major attractions, so we can come up with more targeted ideas?
