Who is your primary target audience? Sounds like it may be locals rather than tourists. How do they decide on which restaurant to select? What would they need to hear/read to get them interested in your restaurant? Or are they all regulars ... in which case why do you want a tagline?

The more we know about your customers the better job we will be able to do coming up with a tagline. Of course, as Jay noted, we'll also need to know the name of your restaurant so we don't repeat anything from the name.

Think about what it is you want the tagline to do for you. What's going to be different once you have a tagline?

    Fresh from the Atlantic.

Considering you are surronded by the Atlantic it could be redundant and viewed as a little silly to include that in your name.

What is your specialty, client descriptors and competion?

Thanks so much for your prompt replies. The restaurants name is Chafe's Landing Seafood Eatery. We cater primarily to tourists and need a slogan/tagline for a series of radio commercials. There are no other restaurants in the town and our primary competition is a city full of restaurants fifteen minutes away. Most tourists to this city visit our outport town and we'd like to offer a more casual, laid back alternative to city dining and we'd like to attract more visitors from the city. Several of our most popular seafood dishes are not available in any of the restaurants in the city...Hope this helps you get a better idea of what i'm looking for. Thanks again
