Tagline Assistance

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Like Addspice earlier this week, we too are at a stall on a new tagline to go with a new logo currently in process. Our previous one was "P.S. Our People Are Great", coined by the founder. We rent and sell modular buildings. The company name is Mobile Modular, and there will be an abstract image of a building in the new logo. We've got two taglines in the works now, but neither is really doing the trick. One is "Expanding Possibilities" which seems too esoteric, and the other is "Quality Buildings~Quality People". We're inclined to want something that speaks to the part our employees play in the process of acquiring a temporary building as during the survey process we've confirmed that our customers feel our project manager's expertise is our differenciating factor. You can see more about us at www.mobilemodularrents.com Thanks in advance for your help.

First of all I think it is outstanding you have taken the initiative to perform a survey ( a lot of companies don't bother).

Second, I applaud your mangerial structure. It's not often the public has anything good to say about managers.

For the tagline, I'm thinking of something along the lines "Portable Buildings~Solid Service". Now that isn't the tagline I recommend, but it explains the way I am thinking: Describe what you do (portable buildings) and give recognition and announcement to your quality staff (Solid service). I'm thinking along the lines that "the buildings can change, but our service is consistant".

I hope that helps give you a different perspective to use when brainstorming. If I think of anything else...I'll post it.

    Good Luck!

Jett gave you a good direction. Alternatively, have any of your competitors claimed the NUMBER ONE position?

    No. 1 in Portable Buildings
    First in Portable Buildings

If not, number one is a strong marketing position to claim and own

    What about...

    "We make room for you."
    or
    "Making room for you."
