Brainstorming To Name Venture Capital Firm

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I have been rocking my brains to name my Venture Capital Company..well here is the description:

My Company provides capital from private equity investors and institutions to experienced developers and other real estate professionals who have assembled well-conceived, demand-driven real estate projects.

The developer becomes the sponsor for the project from initiation to completion. My Company provides both capital and strategic support as an investor in each project. Through the implementation of a detailed development, operating, and exit strategy, each partnership works to realize an investment return consistent with the goals and risk profile of each project.

I do "due dilligence" to make sure the project will bring greatest value to investors and developers.

The name i am looking for will bring to investors and developers feeling of: integrity, strong, trustworthy, can do/will make it happen attitude.

I know of 1.5 bln company with the name:Rockwood Capital. It sounds strong and trusty.

My ideas so far:

1. Advantage Capital
2. West Point Capital(familiar, a?)
3. Genesis Capital

Please help with name and tangline, as i have seen some great ideas on this board.

If you are with real estates go with territory claims.

Area Capital combined with Founaditon, Trust, Ventures or other term seems to be powerful and not widely used (=Google it). A is a good word to start because of the listings.

Imitate Forbes 500 list names: General Real Estate Capitals or United Development Equity or Builders Equity or General Estate Investments or General Estate Equity (GEE). Lot of power and trust.

First of all, "rock solid" is two words, not one ...

I like 'Rock solid ventures' because you already have 'Capital' in the name.

    Other possible names/taglines:

    Thinking Capital
    'Where smart money goes'
[you can use "thinking cap" imagery for copy and logo]

    Capital Ideas
'Creating value for investors and developers'

If you want to go with your names:

    Advantage Capital Group
    'Rock solid ventures'
    OR
'The advantage of rock solid ventures'

    Genesis Capital Group
    'Bringing great ventures to life'
    OR
    'Bringing life to great ventures'

The name/tagline should reflect your brand qualities and differentiators where possible. I prefer combinations that relate to each other, such as using Genesis and the idea of bringing or creating life.
