Where Can I Look For Contract Marketing Writers - Preferably In Canada?

Hi folks,

I need to find some solid writers for discrete technical marketing/sales projects. In the past we've posted contract opportunities on the Society of Technical Communnications job site, but that hasn't been all that successful.
Our in-house writing resources are maxed, so we need to find people know their craft and only require some coaching on our methodology etc.

Is there some kind of centralized organization where we can post?

    I am not 100% sure that this will be useful for your specific needs, but we've had good luck hiring temporary, project-oriented freelancers through https://www.guru.com.

    One of the nice things about this site is that you can see how much money someone has billed through the site (presumably someone earning more money has a better reputation or skillset), and you can also see feedback ratings from previous "employers."

    Keep in mind, however, that there are tons of inexperienced people trying to get their start here, so you will spend some time separating the good from the "not so good."
