Respondents say the top benefits of using generative  for social media marketing are increased efficiency, easier idea generation, increased content production, enhanced creativity, and reduced costs.

Respondents say the top challenges with using generative AI for social media marketing are maintaining authenticity, maintaining the value of human creativity, ensuring content resonates, keeping up with AI advancements, and protecting proprietary information.

The researchers found that the highest proportions of marketers using generative AI for social media marketing are in English-speaking countries (Canada, Australia, and the United States).
