Most B2B marketing leaders say their teams have a moderate level of competency in using artificial intelligence applications, according to recent research from Demand Spring.

The report was based on data from a survey of senior B2B marketers in North America.

Some 52% of B2B marketing leaders say their team has a moderate level of skills competency in using AI applications; 27% say a low level, 18% say a high level, and 4% say none.

Some 87% of B2B marketing leaders say their team is somewhat or very familiar with the potential benefits of AI in marketing today.

B2B marketing leaders say the AI skills most lacking in their teams are data analysis and interpretation (63% say so), algorithm development and programming (59%), and governance knowledge (53%).
