Stories have always been part of the human experience, from the earliest days of traveling storytellers of the ancient world to today's social media raconteurs. And riveting presentations are always the ones that inspire change, conjure strong emotions, and ignite the desire to share the story with friends. But what are the crucial components of a presentation that resonates? And, most importantly, how can you craft one?
In this Take 10 Author Series webcast, Nancy Duarte shares her insights into what makes an engaging presentation, culled from her years of extensive research regarding story in literature, cinema, and speech-making. She guides you through the different stages of a good story, discusses the traits that all great orators share, and offers ideas for harnessing the power of possibilities in your presentation. Plus, she gives you tips for taking your audience on a journey from what is to what can be, if only they adapted your idea or product.
