Most marketers and salespeople say they are aligned with their counterparts in the other department—but most also say they think about replacing their counterparts, according to recent research from Mutiny.

The report was based on data from a survey of 500 sales and marketing leaders.

Some 43% of respondents say they are mostly aligned with their counterparts, 24% say they are completely aligned, and 22% say they are somewhat aligned.

However, two-thirds of sales and marketing professionals say they think about replacing their counterparts, and 15% say they are actively planning to do so.

Only 34% of respondents say they feel positive after meeting with their counterparts.

Most respondents (51%) say they are actively working on improving collaboration between Marketing and Sales.
