Respondents say the top benefit they want from generative AI is improved efficiency and productivity, and 40% say they are already achieving that aim with the technology.

Respondents report even higher levels of success in other areas, such as uncovering new ideas and encouraging innovation.

Respondents say generative AI initiatives focused on cybersecurity are the most likely to be exceeding their ROI expectations.

Respondents say generative AI initiatives are currently most advanced in the IT, Operations, and Marketing functions.
