The Doctors Without Borders website moved up 152,878 positions among all websites visited by US Internet users during the week ended January 16, 2010, to rank No. 4931 overall and No. 8 in the Humanitarian industry, according to Hitwise North America.

Of the website's total traffic, 94% consisted of new visitors during the week. The top 3 websites visited immediately prior to visiting the Doctors Without Borders site—i.e., the top sites driving traffic to the site—were Google, Donate—Doctors Without Borders, and MSNBC.

For the four weeks ended January 16, 2010, 52% of visitors to Doctors Without Borders were female, 66% were age 55+, and 25% had an annual income of $30-$60K.
