Welcome to a brand-new MarketingProfs!
Things sure look different around here today, don't they!
And I love-love-LOVE it! I think you will, too.
Change is good. But change can sometimes be disorienting.
So I'm here to both re-orient and warmly welcome you to an improved MarketingProfs!
This new look and feel isn't just a dust-and-fluff redesign. This is a full-on remodel with a new orientation around this key, deeply held belief:
Learning changes lives
MarketingProfs has a long history focused on marketing education, founded as we were by university professor Allen Weiss in 2000. Since then, we've always served those who actively seek new tactics and new ideas. We've always believed that learning is the key to success.
But increasingly, we've also come to believe something bigger, more central, and more important to us all: Learning of all kinds is essential for human health and happiness.
Learning is important to us as professionals. But it's also important to us as people. It can shift your life's trajectory in subtle ways. It can spark radical transformation.
Challenging yourself to learn new things is more than setting out to acquire a new set of tools or skills: We believe it's a mindset. A commitment to always be learning. Because Learning Changes Lives.
You'll see this Learning Changes Lives mindset expressed throughout the new and improved MarketingProfs.
You'll see it in the stories we tell.
You'll see it at our in-person event next month.
You'll see it in the new research we're producing. (Coming soon!)
You'll see it in our own mindset and our commitment to the cause: We've challenged the staff here at MarketingProfs to pledge 5 hours every week to learn something new. (Even my 14-year-old spaniel, Abby: She might be an old dog, but she's committed to learning a new trick or two.) 😄
And importantly: You'll see the Learning Changes Lives mindset in our products. Today we're introducing new training courses, aligned around a powerful but simple framework.
We've made all of our coursework and content flexible, so that you can get what you need, when you need it. (You can see our course list here.)
Why new products? Why new mindset? Why now?
Marketing has changed. Never before have we had access to such a vast and deep field of new tools, new technologies, new ideas.
Never before has Marketing required so many new skills. Never before has so much been expected of us. Our training courses are here to help you with all of that.
But we're also here to issue a call to arms. Join us. Adopt an always-be-learning mindset. Commit to learning something (anything!) new every week. Experience how Learning Changes Lives.
I promise you'll gain more than marketing smarts. You'll also be better at life, period. Happier. Healthier. More successful in every sense.
Marketing has changed. MarketingProfs has changed.
The question is: How will learning change you, too?
We love you,
Ann Handley
