Tell us about your company.
London Borough of Tower Hamlets is a government council in East London area. I work for the Spitalfields Local Housing Office as HSO. As this job is a source of support to my education in PhD Marketing and also supporting my finance. My current duties deal with housing problem in the Spitalfields area. I work on different issues in Housing such as Designing and developing Housing Strategy and Performance criteria, Developing an annual tenant / leaseholder opinion survey and suggestion, Monitoring and managing all aspects relating for future development in Housing and Govt Policy.
How did you find KHE?
To be honest, I was searching an article for my research work and I noticed there is lot more that just an article on marketingprof.com. That’s make me so interesting to register and use my talent in practical world.
Explain your Community Name and why you selected it.
My community name is same as my name and surname – “Mansing Bhor”. I always like to introduce my Identity as who I am!
What kinds of KHE questions do you enjoy most?
It is hard to divide this question! I enjoy all type of question from A to Z.
Describe one KHE discussion you learned something from.
I have learned from every question and I have learned a lot more from the members. You are sitting with the people who got tremendous practical experience and you sharing your experience and answer with them. I am feeling great! I would like to say I have learned to analysis and evaluate the question very carefully when I was giving my answer for “Is RSS a Marketing Tool?” on 5/10/2006 6:11 AM. It challenged my limited study on this question and I have improved my knowledge in that field.
What is your favorite marketing book? Why?
High tech Marketing Products and Innovation by Jackie Moore. I’m always interested to find out what makes traditional marketing different from High Tech Marketing. This book gives me a deep insight knowledge which is very useful for every marketer to find out future of Marketing.
What networking or professional organizations do you belong to?
Currently I am member of charted Institute of marketing.
