I'm constantly amazed by the generosity of KHE members. Imagine responding to over 700 questions, often more than once as the asker provides more detail. It boggles my mind, yet that's what Ron Bauman does.
His responses are well-thought out and provide a touch of common sense wisdom that I find appealing. Read on to learn more about this active participant.

Tell us about your company.
I do not have my own company and am currently between jobs and actively looking for employment.
How did you find KHE?
I originally found MarketigProfs’s KHE doing a search for marketing information. Once I saw the benefits of sharing knowledge and experience with other and drawing on the advice and opinions of other professionals, I became a subscriber and try to actively contribute to KHE.
What kinds of KHE questions do you enjoy most?
Naming, branding and questions that draw on my background in Sales.
I have over 20 years of experience in Marketing and Sales. I first went into marketing as a means of entering sales because when I applied for sales positions I was told that I didn’t have any sales experience and felt that I could contribute in a marketing role while moving closer to sales.
Did you study marketing in college? Or have you learned on the job?
I did not study marketing in college other than one marketing course as part of my Master’s program.
What is your next career objective?
To again become gainfully employed after being affected by a downsizing.
Do you have a favorite gadget/tool that helps you do your job?
The Internet and KHE.
Describe one of your non-marketing hobbies or interests.
Spending time with my family.
What is the value KHE provides to you personally?
It allows me to share my knowledge and experiences with others looking for advice while challenging me to apply myself to new problems that I might not otherwise face in my own assignments.
Have you made any offline connections with people you met in KHE?
No
Do you have any advice for new members of KHE?
Don’t let the feeling that others are more experienced or formally educated prevent you from contributing. Sometimes a person is looking for “real world common sense” and not a textbook answer.
