Rashi Glazer is Professor of Marketing at the University of California at Berkeley and the Editor of the Journal of Interactive Marketing. He is an expert in high technology and information intensive marketing as well as consumer behavior and decision making. He has won several awards for his research in these areas. He has served as a consultant to a variety organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Intel and IBM.

Jeff Hudson is the CEO of VhaYu. Jeff has been a key executive in four successful high-technology start-ups that have gone public. He was president and chief executive officer of Visioneer, senior vice president of marketing, sales and service at NetFRAME Systems, vice president of worldwide marketing and customer services at Wyse Technology and an initial team member at Fortune Systems. Hudson spent his early career in a series of sales and marketing management positions at IBM and Digital Equipment Corp. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of California at Davis.

Jim Lattin is Robert A. Magowan Professor of Marketing and Management Science and Director of the Marketing Management Program at Stanford University. He is an expert in database marketing, choice models and purchase behavior, and has won several awards for his research and teaching. He is on the editorial board of Marketing Science. He is also on the Board of Directors and advisory board for several companies.

Carol Scott is Professor of Marketing at the University of California at Los Angeles. Her expertise includes marketing positioning strategies and customer analysis for marketing decisions. Her most recent project investigates issues related to brand equity and leverage of brand names. She has served as a consultant to a variety of profit and non-profit organizations on questions of marketing strategy, marketing positioning, and marketing effectiveness, and is a member of the board of directors of Sizzler International, Inc. and Athena Medical Corporation.

Naufel Vilcassim is a Professor of Marketing at the London School of Business. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University. He specializes in the areas of pricing and price promotions, analyzing competitive models of market interaction, modeling consumer choice and panel data analysis, and new product design and forecasting. His recent research has been published in journals such as Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science,International Journal of Research in Marketing, among others. He serves on the editorial boards of Marketing Science, and the Journal of Marketing Research. He has a keen interest in the practice of marketing in the newly industrialized countries of Southeast Asia.

Richard Burger is the director of corporate communications for Homebid.com, an application service provider for the real estate industry specializing in online home transactions. He is responsible for developing the company’s messages and maintaining its visibility through media and community relations, events and the company Web site Burger came to Homebid.com from the Brodeur Porter Novelli public relations agency where, as an account director, he managed several high-profile clients such as Philips Electronics, Avnet and US WEST. Burger has ten years of news reporting and editing experience followed by ten years of high-tech public relations experience. Prior to Brodeur, he worked for three years as an account supervisor in Miller/Shandwick Technology’s Silicon Valley office, and has specialized since 1995 in launching and managing Internet accounts. Burger holds a Master’s degree in journalism from New York University.

James G. Ellis is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Port O’Call Pasadena. Prior to his current position, he has been a senior executive and CEO in several companies, including and Porsche Design and Miller’s Outpost. Holding an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and a BBA from the University of New Mexico, Mr. Ellis serves on a number of non-profit boards of directors, as well as in community affairs. He is the former Chairman of the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, and serves on the International Board of Directors of the organization as well. Capitalizing on his business operating acumen and his strong entrepreneurial skills, Mr. Ellis has spoken to numerous groups around the world on topics of Business Policy, Business Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Marketing, and Retailing. In addition, he is in the process of completing two books.
